Hrithik Roshan made headlines recently for rejecting a role offered to him in the Ayan Mukerji movie Brahmastra 2. As per reports, the actor was offered to play the role of MahaDev in the sequel of the Ayan Mukerji directorial. Reports suggested that Hrithik Roshan rejected the offer to play MahaDev due to a scheduling conflict. A report said that the actor is not keen on investing his time in another high-visual effects movie, with Krrish 4 and Ramayana in his kitty.

Baahubali
Hrithik, who is known as the Greek God of Bollywood was offered the titular role. However, as the actor had just finished wrapping up with Jodhaa Akbar, he was not keen on doing the period drama. Contrary to reports, the director mentioned that he had only Prabhas in mind for the role.
BaahubaliSwadesÂ
Hrithik had worked with Ashutosh Gowariker in Jodhaa Akbar, however, he rejected Swades. Shah Rukh Khan went on to star in the project. During an interview later, Roshan had explained why he rejected the role in Swades. And, the actor had said, “I had read Ashutosh’s script for Swades. I couldn’t see it from the director’s perspective, and therefore didn’t think I was equipped to perform the part. I wasn’t the best person to translate Ashutosh’s vision. And this was right after Lagaan so when Ashutosh came to me I felt on top of the world. Swades is one of my favourite films. And Ashutosh is definitely one of my favourite filmmakers.”
Rang De Basanti
Rang De Basanti was reportedly offered to Hrithik for the role of Karan Singhania. However, Siddharth featured in the role later.
Dil Chahta Hai
Hrithik was offered the role of Sameer and even Sid in Dil Chahta Hai, according to reports. However, he was not keen on doing the role. Eventually, the movie went on to be one of the most iconic of all time.
LagaanÂ
Hrithik was not so keen on the script when he was officially offered Lagaan, as per reports. However, Aamir Khan took over the project, the film eventually went to the Oscars.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Roshan is gearing up for the release of Vikram Vedha. He even has Fighter with Deepika Padukone and a few other movies in his kitty.
