And, the star cast of the movie have also gained recognition after its release. Baahubali was made in two parts. And, Baahubali: The Beginning featured Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishna, Sathyaraj, and Nassar.

Hrithik Roshan

The War actor was offered to play a titular role in the movie. However, Roshan was reportedly not prepared to take up the movie as he had wrapped up with Jodhaa Akbar. Contrary to reports, director SS Rajamouli had mentioned that he only had Prabhas in mind for the lead role in the movie.

Sonam Kapoor

The Aisha actress had revealed that she was approached for a role in Baahubali. Sonam made the revelation on a chat show with Neha Dhupia. However, the actress never mentioned about the character she was offered to play.

John Abraham

The Attack actor was offered to play the character of Bhallaladeva in the movie. Reports suggested that SS Rajamoulio eventually decided to not choose a cast from Bollywood.
