The 16 year old now plans to take up Bachelor of Mass Media course in Mumbai and then fly abroad to do post-graduation in advertising. He also runs a theatre company with his friends and desires to become a director someday. Under the banner of Clean Slate Studios, he and his mates have produced and directed a play and are now working on another one.

International films calling!

After his last outing in the flop movie 'Right Yaa Wrong' in 2010, Ali made a comeback to films with international star Brendan Frazer (The Mummy trilogy, George of the Jungle, Journey to the Center of the Earth) starrer 'The Field'. Directed by Rohit Karn Batra of Invisible Man Pictures, the film also stars Ronit Roy, Prem Chopra, and Radhika Apte and revolves around a dysfunctional family with a backdrop of Mafia.

In the year 2007, Ali was seen in the Salman Khan and Govinda starrer 'Partner', where he played Lara Dutta’s son. Ali recounted memories and said, “During the shoot of Partner, I remember how Salman uncle came to my school to pick me up. He gave me a ride on his Hayabusa bike as we rode across the streets of Bandra. Seeing me fond of bikes, he took me to a toy store and bought me a bike which can be ridden on and ran on electricity.”
