Karan Mehra and Nisha Rawal relationship: Their 14 year Love story, son Kavish & divorce

In shocking news on Monday morning, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame Karan Mehra and Nisha Rawal made headlines. Nisha filed a case against Karan for allegedly hitting her and assaulting her on Sunday night. Karan Mehra has denied all the allegations and was granted bail after being arrested by the Mumbai police. In a series of interviews, Karan has maintained that Nisha hit herself deliberately and has been framing him. He also revealed that there was trouble in their married life and they had been contemplating divorce. Before their relationship hit the rock, the two were considered one of the ‘ideal’ ones in the industry. Here’s a look at all the milestones the couple embraced together before it turned ugly.

First Meet: Karan Mehra and Nisha Rawal first met on the sets of the movie Hastey Hastey in 2008 where Rawal was the leading lady. The two became friends during the shoot and fell in love shortly. The two began dating shortly and Karan had revealed that it was love-at-first-sight for him.

Proposal: Nisha Rawal was shocked and surprised when Karan Mehra proposed to her in from of the entire media by going down on his knees. Yes, the entire proposal was overwhelming for Nisha, surely. Following this, the two even danced to ‘Pehla Nasha’ to cheer their relationship.

Dating and marriage: After dating for 5 years, the couple finally took the plunge and married each other in 2012. On November 24, 2012, the two tied the knot at Karan’s Noida residence amidst close family members and friends. It was a five-day-long celebration for the couple.

Embracing parenthood: After being together for 9 years in total, the couple welcomed their baby boy Kavish on June 14, 2017. The couple found out about the pregnancy when Karan was in fact inside the Bigg Boss 10 house. Kavish will soon turn 4 years old.

2021: In April this year, there were reports of the two going through some trouble in marriage. However, Karan had denied it saying that he is shocked to see all those reports. But, looks like there is no smoke without fire. Yes.
