Chennai Express

The Rohit Shetty-directed movie featured Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. As per reports, Katrina was offered the film first. However, she reportedly refused to play Meenamma in the movie due to the accent and tone.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani

Katrina was offered to play the role of Naina in YJHD. However, as per reports, she rejected the movie due to date issues.

Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela

The Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directed movie starred Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. Reportedly, she was the first one to be offered the film, but she rejected due to unknown reasons.

Bajirao Mastani

The Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directed movie featured Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra. As per reports, Katrina was apparently the first choice for the period drama.

Barfi!

Barfi was directed by Anurag Basu and featured Priyanka Chopra, Ranbir Kapoor, and Ileana D’Cruz in key roles. According to reports, Katrina had reportedly turned down the role in the movie because she was not sure if she wanted to be a part of a two-heroine film.

Half Girlfriend

The movie was an adaptation of the book titled the same, by Chetan Bhagat. It featured Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in key roles. As per reports, despite liking the role, Katrina asked filmmaker Mohit Suri to cast another actress as she felt she wouldn’t fit the role of a college-going girl.

Gunday

The movie featured Priyanka Chopra, Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. As per reports, Kaif rejected Gunday due to date issues.

On the work front, Katrina has the movie Tiger 3 in her kitty. The movie features Salman Khan and Emraan Hashmi as well. She also has Merry Christmas and Phone Bhoot in her kitty.
