Alia Bhatt talks about daughter Raha Kapoor

The Gangubai Kathiwadi actor reveals that she instantly picks up her phone to show her daughter’s videos and photos whenever they ask about her. She also mentioned that she interacts with her every morning and she speaks her heart out. During the conversation, Kareena interrupted her and mentioned that Raha looks a lot like Ranbir Kapoor. To which, Alia mentioned, “I think she is genuinely a very good balance of both of us. In fact, a lot of time, she looks like Ranbir’s father Rishi Kapoor.“

Alia Bhatt on breaking down after her daughter’s face was revealed

“Basically, I felt like a picture came out of hers and it was our schedule in Kashmir. It was a very very difficult schedule for me because it was my first shooting after giving birth. No matter what anybody says, it takes really long for your body to bounce back. I still feel like there have been, and I am still going through some changes. I was not sleeping at night, I was feeding, I was rushing in between shoots and stuff. So, I remember calling Ranbir up and saying, ‘I’m finding it very difficult’. He pushed his work and said do not worry,’ I’m going to come pick her up, I have pushed my work. She will be with me’, Alia said.

“And it was really relaxing for me. But also, it was the first time I was separating from her, I was feeling very guilty and the guilt carried on. It was just one and a half days later that I travelled back and saw a photo where the side of her face was kind of visible. I just broke down and I realised I was breaking down not because I didn’t want people to see her face. We are proud of our baby, but it was just too many emotions put together and I’m so protective of my loved ones. I realised I was just exhausted and overwhelmed at that time,” the Brahmastra actor said.

When asked about pap culture, Alia mentioned, “I don’t feel like she needs to be papped. She is not even a year old. I have been very respectful towards the paps and the press.” Bhatt feels that her daughter shouldn’t be the content piece on Instagram.

Kareena Kapoor on keeping kids in the public eye

Bebo revealed that Taimur Ali Khan is a lot like her husband Saif Ali Khan. Talking about keeping her sons under the media glare, Kareena stated that Saif told her that if they try to cover their faces, it will have an impact on them.

The 30-year-old actor said, “I think I have a very candid way of speaking. Even when I’m talking about anything in my life, I like to imitate the person that I am talking about. I like to give anecdotes, I like to make it personal. And I feel a lot of the things get picked out of context. My team told me this was spiralling out of hand I was like ‘Okay, let it go’ because people will genuinely keep talking all the time.

“But then I realised there are serious articles talking about how he is a toxic man. I was like ‘Are we serious’? There are many issues in the world to talk about and give more attention towards than talking about something that I said in a completely different context. The only reason I felt bad or I feel bad is that people misunderstood because he’s genuinely the opposite.“

Bebo was asked the reason why she didn’t attend the Gadar 2 success party. Kareena answered she wasn’t in town. Karan poked Kareena asking if she didn’t attend the party because she and Ameesha Patel have so much history. She then hit it back saying, “The only history I know is that her movie created history“. When asked to share her views on being replaced by Ameesha in the movie, Kapoor said, “I think that films are destiny. Everyone went on to do their best and that’s it.”
