Darlings 

Darlings features Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Matthew in key roles. The movie is co-produced by Alia Bhatt and she makes her production debut under the banner Eternal Sunshine Productions. The film is also produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and is scheduled to release on August 5, on the streaming platform Netflix. Darlings is a black comedy drama co-written and directed by Jasmeet K. Reen.

Laal Singh Chaddha

Laal Singh Chaddha features Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. The movie is the official Hindi remake of the 1994 Tom Hanks movie titled The Forrest Gump. The film is directed by Advait Chandan and produced under the banners- Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom 18 Studios. Laal Singh Chaddha also features Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya, who makes his Hindi acting debut. The film is slated to hit theatres on August 11.

Raksha Bandhan

Raksha Bandhan is a special film to actor Akshay Kumar that features Bhumi Pednekar and him in key roles. The movie is directed by Aanand L Rai and produced by Zee Studios, Colour Yellow Productions and Cape of Good Films. The plot of the comedy drama revolves around the a brother to four sisters, who has promised he would fulfill his father’s responsibilities. Raksha Bandhan is scheduled to release in theatres on August 11. It is set to clash with Laal Singh Chaddha at the box office.

Do Baaraa

Do Baaraa features Taapsee Pannu in a key role. The film is directed by Anurag Kashyap and the plot of the mystery drama revolves around time travel. Do Baaraa features Pavail Gulati, Rahul Bhat, and Saswata Chatterjee too. The film opened at the London Indian Film Festival 2022. Do Baaraa, a remake of the 2018 Spanish movie titled Mirage is slated for a theatrical release on August 19.

Liger 

Liger marks Telugu actor, Arjun Reddy fame, Vijay Deverakonda’s Bollywood debut. The movie features Ananya Panday in a key role too. It also stars Mike Tyson in a cameo appearance. Liger is directed by Puri Jagannadh and produced by Dharma Productions and Puri Connects. The sports action movie is scheduled to release in cinemas on August 25.
