Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha were possible one of the most legendary and controversial jodis of their times. In spite of Amitabh being married to Jaya Bachchan, his affair with Rekha gained momentum in the year 1976, after they worked together in 'Do Anjaane.' With so much going on abut their personal life, it was Yash Chopra who could bring them together onscreen with 'Silsila'. These two however never shared screen space again.

Rishi Kapoor and Sridevi

How can anyone not remember 'Chandni'? The iconic film. From its story and songs to Rishi Kapoor and Sridevi's onscreen charm, one just instantly falls in love with all of it. Yash Chopra immortalised the couple into a perfect romance symbol through this.

Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi

Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi not only spread magic onscreen, but also share a great rapport off screen as well. The two gave memorable performances in movies like 'Yess Boss', 'Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman' and 'Darr' and are still remembered as one of the best Bollywood couples.

The two had a charm that they spread onscreen, every time they came together. Yash Chopra brought them together in 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge,' and it was not only the movie that became iconic, but also the jodi. This is the reason that when the two came together for 'Dilwale' recently, there was quite a hype to see them.

Another onscreen pair that still is fresh in people's minds is that of Anil Kapoor and Sridevi. Yash Chopra brought them together in the classic 'Lamhe', that was said to be one Chopra's best creations. He surpassed his own findings with this jodi.

Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta

Shah Rukh Khan was Yash Chopra's favourite muse. The actor-director worked together in a lot of movies, most of which made a mark forever. Shah Rukh is said to take out romance in every actress and his pairing with Preity Zinta too proved to be quite a hit. The two worked together in movies like 'Dil Se,' 'Kal Ho Na Ho', 'Veer-Zaara', amongst others, which all left a mark in audiences mind.

The year 2008 saw the debut of a fresh face alongside Shah Rukh Khan, who was in a never-seen-before avatar. Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma's pair went on to win the hearts of the people. They later on worked together in Yash Chopra's last directorial venture 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan', though they were not romantically paired opposite each other. We got to see a taste of their fabulous chemistry again in 2017, in Imtiaz Ali's 'Jab Harry Met Sejal', and even though the movie could not be a success, we loved their crackling chemistry.
