‘Fanney Khan’
When you have stars like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in a film, you naturally expect a lot from it. But unfortunately, 'Fanney Khan' failed to live up to everyone's expectations. Directed by Atul Manjrekar, the film failed to appease the audiences and the critics alike.
‘Race 3’
The lesser we say about this film the better. This Salman Khan starrer is hands down the biggest disappointment of 2018. Even Salman's star power couldn't help in saving this film. Directed by Remo D'Souza, 'Race 3' is a multi-starrer and the third part of the hit 'Race' franchise.
‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’
Going by the promos of this film, everyone was looking forward to this Shahid Kapoor starrer which is directed by Shree Narayan Singh. However, upon its release, the film was panned by critics for its poor execution.
‘Namaste England’
We bet you all must be in love with Vipul Shah's 'Namastey London'. So when 'Namaste England' was announced, everyone's excitement levels hit the roof. However, coming from the same director, the film turned out to be a disaster. Or perhaps, disaster is an understatement for this film.
‘Thugs of Hindostan’
As we said earlier, the year 2018 has been very disappointing as none of the Khans succeeded in living up to their superstar status. 'Thugs of Hindostan' saw Aamir and Amitabh Bachchan coming together for the first time. Despite the film's grand scale and star power, it failed miserably.
‘Zero’
Shah Rukh Khan playing a vertically challenged man on the silver screen sounds so exciting right? However, it was not the same when the film hit the silver screens. Though everyone is praising the lead actor's performance, the film's poor plot line sealed its fate.
The year 2018 saw several big budget as well as small budget films doing a marvelous job at the box-office. But the year clearly defined that content is the ultimate king and it is the script that makes or breaks a film. This year was not at all good even for the three Khans of Bollywood – Aamir, Shah Rukh and Salman Khan. Yes, despite their craze, the trio failed to bring the audiences to the theatres. Here, we bring you a list of this year’s most disappointing films. Have a look.
