Mr & Mrs Mahi starring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor is garnering good responses from the audience. The movie started on a good note as it hit six by earning Rs 6.85 crore on day 1. In fact, the movie also passed the crucial Monday test with flying colours as it earned Rs 2.21 crore on day 4. Mr and Mrs Mahi movie stands tall with a grand total of Rs 19.33 crore at the box office. Sharan Sharma’s directorial venture will hit the Rs 20 crore mark on Day 5.

And well, they duo’s magic spellbounded everyone this time as well. During the wrap of her shoot, Janhiv penned a sweet note for the director and wrote, “@sharanssharma you made sure, no matter how difficult things got, that none of us were compromising on our attempt at excellence. Under the burden of the worlds stress, still pushing, never settling.”

Mr & Mrs Mahi has turned out to be a successful commercial hit for both Rajkummar and Janhvi. With the opening day collections of Rs 6.85 crore, the movie is the second commercial hit for Janhvi after Dhadak which collected Rs 8.71 crore on day 1. Mr & Mrs Mahi is Rajkummar’s first commercial hit. Followed by Stree (Rs 6.82 crore), Judgementall Hai Kya (Rs 4.50 crore), Roohi (Rs 3.06 crore),
Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga (Rs 2.90 crore).
