Introduction!
Sometimes we as a full-fledged Bollywood fanatics soak into a particular film so much that even a romantic scene in the same makes us to take love advice. But wait...Bollywood films are mere 'work of fiction' and we do not want you to get dominated by those glamourised and intentionally made-to-look-in-a-certain-way scenes, especially romantic ones. Check out 5 films below which should not be your love guide at all.
Pyar… Ek Hi Baar Hota Hai! – Kuch Kuch Hota Hai
Starting of with the king of romance, Shah Rukh Khan. You might have surely come across this line from his romantic flick 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' which is, 'Hum ek baar jeete hai, ek baar marte hai, shaadi bhi ek baar hoti hai ... aur pyar ek baar hi hota hai.' Meaning: We live once, we die once, we get married once ... and love also happens only once...Like really in the film itself he crushes on two girls one after another. Love is a feeling, can happen any number of times. Roger that!
Haseena Maan Jaayegi!
Remember this song from the above film which is, 'Kabh tak ruthegi, cheekhegi chilaayegi, dil kehta hai ek din Haseena Maan Jayegi." Such a lame line where the desperate soul of a guy pours in like hell. The movie really doesn't leave much to the imagination. We laughed our heart out at Govinda's funny timing in this one, but ignored the disgusting tone of the film, just like the actors ignored the concept of consent. And the heroines, well they 'maanoed' eventually, we have no idea why!
6 din, ladki in! – Kal Ho Naa Ho
Again we have the King of romance teaching all the wrong things about love. Yes, we do know that 'KHNH' is an all time favourite, and we still watch it when it's on our TV screen. But the '6 Din ladki In' theory is nothing but another meh attempt of Bollywood that indirectly preaches, 'Ladki Hai, Pat Hi Jayegi'!
The makeover game! – Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani
This movie is our generation’s favourite and there is no doubt on that. However, one can’t help but cringe over the tried and tested ‘transformation’ theory, that a guy only starts noticing and flirting with a girl, once she becomes a hot property, from a plain Jane that she earlier was. Agreed, one can argue on the fact that the feelings were just on the base level when Bunny left for the US, and neither he nor Naina was waiting for either post eight years, and that their meeting and rekindling of emotions was just a coincidence. But then, the fact that Bunny starts flirting and turning on his charm full on only when Naina has bloomed into a confident and hot professional, is too cliche. So is the fact that Naina, despite being an independent woman, falls for these antics of Bunny. Yes, they were meant to be, but then where was this charm when Naina was a simple medical student?
Loving a Ghost!
Last but not the least, we will be ending this feature with SRK. Remember his film, 'Mohabbatein'. Just let us know how can you romance a ghost with so much of confidence? We do understand it was a work of fiction, but this shallow, NAHI! You definitely need a shrink buddy, more so because many young lives are at your disposal, as you are to teach them about love, the concept of which you have to straighten out for yourself, first of all.

The same goes for romance as well.
