Last year in June, 2021, Neena Gupta had shared a video of her from her meeting with lyricist Gulzar. The actress shared a clip from her visit to Gulzar’s home. In the clip, she is seen wearing a set of blue top and matching shorts. Gupta even donned sunglasses and wore a mask. She visited Gulzar to give him her book, ‘Sach Kahun Toh’. Sharing the video, the actress wrote, “So happy and nervous ki unhen kaisi lagegi.”

Neena Gupta went on to react to the same. She replied with a befitting answer and shut down the trolls like a boss. She said, ” Aur main kuch baat un bewakoof ke bacche jo mujhe likhte hai ki shorts pehenkar Gulzar Sahab se milne gayi, unko batana chahungi ki meri Gulzar sahab se mulakaat aur dosti tabhi hui jab vo roz subha mujhe tennis khelne ke liye pick up karte the ghar se. To hum dono shorts me hi milte the roz. (I would like to educate some trolls who were targeting me for wearing shorts while meeting Gulzar Sahab: We became friends as he used to pick me up every morning to play tennis. So we were always in shorts when we met).”

One other such time, Neena Gupta had bashed trolls on the internet for judging women on the basis of their clothing. She shared a video and warned those who troll her attire. The actress shared the video, and captioned it, “Sach Kahun Toh! (if I speak the truth).” In the video, she was seen wearing a deep v-neck dress.

In the video, Gupta updated everyone about her educational qualifications. She said, “Mujhe ye isliye post karna hai kyunki aisa lagta hai ki jo log aise sexy type kapde pahante hain, jaise ki maine abhi pahne hai – wo aise hi hote hain, bekar ke. Lekin main bata du ki maine Sanskrit mein MPhil ki hui hai, aur bhi bahut kujh kia hua hai. To kapde dekh ke kisi ko judge nahi karna. Troll karne walo samajh lo (I wanted to post this because people who wear clothes like these, like the one I am wearing, are just like that, useless. But let me tell you that I am an MPhil in Sanskrit and have many other qualifications. So do not judge a person by his/her clothes. I hope you get it, trolls).”
