Tanushree Dutta returned to India after a decade and opened up on a 10-year-old controversy. She alleged that she was harassed by Nana Patekar on the sets of 'Horn 'Ok' Pleasss' in the year 2008. She accused Nana Patekar of sexually harassing her while shooting an intimate song 'Nathani' in the film, even though it was not mentioned in her contract.

When Tanushree went to Ganesh Acharya, the choreographer to change the steps, he said it could not be changed. Tanushree refused to shoot and went into her vanity van. Nana then left the set and the shooting was called off.

Tanushree said that after the shoot was called off, Nana Patekar called some goons to vandalise her car. The producer, who called the media for publicity, closed the gates of the studio so that Tanushree and her family could not leave.

Along with Nana Patekar, she also named director Rakesh Sarang, choreographer Ganesh Acharya and producer Sami Siddique for harassing her during that time.

At that time, Tanushree had informed Cine and TV Artists Association (CINTAA) about the entire incident but no action was taken. When her car was vandalised in 2008, Mumbai Police saved her from the goons.

The actress accused Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) of vandalising her car in 2008. To a leading daily, the actress said that MNS party had threatened her with a violent attack.

Nana has send a legal notice to Tanushree Dutta asking to apologize and withdraw all the allegations. Tanushree too had filed a police complaint at the Oshiwara police station against Patekar, choreographer Ganesh Acharya, producer Sameer Siddiqui and director Rakesh Sarang.

Nana, who was shooting for his upcoming movie 'Housefull 4' returned to Mumbai on October 6 and denied all the allegations by Tanushree. On October 8, he was supposed to hold a press conference with Ganesh Acharya but posptponed it. On the same day, he addressed the media and said, "The truth which was 10 years ago, remains the same today and will continue to be tomorrow as well.”

As per latest reports, Tanushree has now lodged a complaint with the Maharashtra State Commission for Women for further enquiry.
