Kareena Kapoor Khan
Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan was also averse to the idea of featuring in a roast format show and hence declined to be a part of the show.
Jacqueline Fernandez
Just like Akshay Kumar, actress Jacqueline Fernandez too did not like the racist comments cracked on Lisa Haydon during 'Housefull 3' promotions on 'Comedy Nights Bachao'. And, that was the reason that the pretty actress refused to promote 'Dishoom' on the show.
Hrithik Roshan
Actor Hrithik Roshan was to promote 'Mohenjo Daro' on 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa'. But, the channel had a clause mentioning that Roshan should also make an appearance on 'Comedy Nights Bachao'. Hrithik wasn't keen on this offer as they did not like the format of roast. Eventually, he did not promote the movie on both the shows. Although, Hrithik said he was never approached for the comedy show, rumours suggest that he didn't want to appear on the show.
Akshay Kumar
Actor Akshay Kumar who had made an appearance on 'Comedy Night Bachao' during the promotions of his comic caper 'Housefull 3' along with his co-stars Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez and Lisa Haydon, refused to promote 'Rustom' on the show. Apparently, he wasn't happy with the racist remarks cracked on Lisa and decided to not promote 'Rustom' on the show.
The format of roasting celebrities is not new, but what’s changed is the way it is being portrayed these days. The popular comedy show on ‘Colors’ channel ‘Comedy Nights Bachao‘ that has Krushna Abhishek and Bharti Singh roasting celebrities, may have been liked in its initial days. But it seems as if the hosts have been going overboard with their jokes in the name of humour. Recently, ‘Parched’ movie actors Tannishtha Chatterjee, Radhika Apte and director Linaa Yadav made an appearance on the comedy show, but it was an unpleasant experience for Tannishtha who was roasted only on the basis of her skin tone.

It isn’t the first time that something of this sort has happened on the show. Earlier, when ‘Housefull 3’ stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez and Lisa Haydon had appeared on the show, Lisa also faced racist jokes and that did not go down well with her and the other actors.
So, we have observed that many B-Town celebs have been trying to maintain a safe distance from the show. Here are the actors who are not too keen to make an appearance on the show now:
