The controversy!
Thanks to Karni Sena, the film 'Padmaavat' has received too much of attention. The protest against the film is immense and we are really eager to know what's so controversial in the film that people do not want us to watch. The buzz and the excitement around the film is immense and we are desperately looking forward to watch 'Padmaavat' on the big screen.
The solo release
The mighty lord dropped down from heaven in the form on Akshay Kumar for this film who willingly agreed to shift the release date of his film 'PadMan' to February 9. With this, 'Padmaavat' is all set to get a solo release on January 25. There is no denial that audiences will flock the theatres to watch this film and break the records. Talking about 'Bajirao Mastani', the film suffered a huge competition from Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon-starrer 'Dilwale'. This had lead to the division of screens and hampered the box office numbers. But this time, it's just 'Padmaavat' which will be ruling the theatres.
The awesome trio!
Whenever Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhansali have collaborated with each other, the result has been fabulous. Be it 'Gooliyon Ki Raasleela Ramleela' or 'Bajirao Mastani', we have always witnessed a masterpiece and this time is not going to be different.
The budget
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmaavat' has been made on a whopping budget of Rs 190 crore. The grandeur of the film does call for attention and even though 'Bajirao Mastani' too was a cinematic experience, 'Padmaavat' seems to be on a much larger scale.
Ranveer ‘Villain’ Singh
Lastly, we expect Ranveer Singh's fans to go all mad witnessing his villainous side in 'Padmaavat'. In 'Bajirao Mastani' he was the hero, but here he is going to be the villain and probably the most dangerous one. The impact of Alauddin Khilji seems to leave a more deeper impact than Bajirao.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s last venture ‘Bajirao Mastani’ was insanely successful. The grandeur of the film teamed with fine performances of the stars wooed each one of us. Well, with SLB ready with his next masterpiece ‘Padmaavat’, one really wonders whether this film will be able to break the record set by ‘Bajirao Mastani’. Some of the pointers which we are listing below, do indicate that the scene this time will be much bigger than ‘Bajirao Mastani’.
