Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt became man and wife as they tied the knot on April 14, in an intimate wedding ceremony. The wedding rituals took place at RK’s residence, Vaastu. The couple’s pre-wedding festivities also were held at Vaastu. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt made their first public appearance, right after the wedding ceremony. They left almost everyone speechless as Alia went on to share dreamy photos from her wedding. The couple also hosted an intimate wedding after-party for the close ones who attended the nuptials.

The Gangubai Kathiawadi actress had shared a string of photos with her husband, on Instagram. In her note from Ranbir and her, Alia wrote, “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites.” She added, “Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special.” Alia also extended love from Ranbir and her.
