Performances that stumped us!

The first quarter of 2018 has come to an end and in just three months Bollywood has given us some amazing films, with some wonderful performances. Here are the actors who totally wowed us with their kickass performances, in the first quarter of 2018.

Ranveer Singh

After what Ranveer did in ‘Bajirao Mastani’, we all knew that he will be fantastic in ‘Padmaavat’ as Sultan Alauddin Khilji. But, Ranveer took his performance to a totally different level; he gave us more than what we expected. We can only say one word about his act, BRILLIANT!

Deepika Padukone

Playing the central character in ‘Padmaavat’, Deepika looked like million bucks in the movie. After watching the movie, we simply can’t think of any other actress who could have portrayed the role of Rani Sa, Rani Padmavati, more effectively.

Sonam Kapoor

After ‘Neerja’ we all expected Sonam to do something that would once again leave us awestruck. Well, she opted to play a small role in ‘PadMan’ compared to the other actress in the film Radhika Apte. But, her performance surely impressed one and all, and people couldn’t stop raving about her act.

Anushka Sharma

‘Pari’ might not have done an exceptional business at the box office, but we cannot ignore that Anushka’s performance in the film was one of the best performances of her career. She successfully scared us and gave us nightmares, at the same time feeling an empathy for the devil, which is rare.

Kartik Aaryan

As Sonu in ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’, Kartik Aaryan was amazing. Though the film starred other actors too, it was Kartik who carried the movie on his shoulder wonderfully. We are sure with this film he comes in the league of good actors in Bollywood.

Rani Mukerji

In the first quarter, the best performance came from Rani Mukerji. The actress made her comeback with ‘Hichki’ after a gap of around four years, and once again proved that she is one of the best actresses we have in the industry. It was a difficult character that Rani made look so easy on the big screen.
