What took Vaani Kapoor so long to do a film?

Vaani Kapoor took a long gap after her stint in 'Shuddh Desi Romance' to feature in a film. She blamed Aditya Chopra for this hiatus. She said, "This gap is due to Adi Chopra. He made me wait. I did not know what I will get next, but I was genuinely waiting for something good, so that I could go ahead with it. He assured me that if I wait, there would be something good coming my way. He said let us wait for a project that will be apt for you as a second project. He took three years to finalise and make the film and that is why it got late."

When Ranveer Singh had to choose between Deepika Padukone and Vaani Kapoor!

With too many kisses in 'Befikre', Ranveer was asked a question that could have put him in a fix. He was asked about who is a better kisser, Deepika Padukone or Vaani Kapoor? But he smartly replied, "In the ‘Ang laga de’ song in ‘Ram Leela’, we had a very hot, sexy and passionate kiss. The kisses in ‘Befikre’ are more full of love and warmth."

Here's Ranveer's answer, "I don’t wanna be anyone’s part two, I just wanna be Ranveer.” He further praised Emraan and said, "Emraan Hashmi is an unexplored artiste and there is so much left in him to be explored and with the right opportunity he’ll show everyone that he is much more than just his reputation of kissing. He is a fabulous artiste and I’ve known him even before I became an actor and I am really really looking forward to his upcoming film."

Ranveer Singh, a mean man!

We have watched the behind-the-scene video from the sets of 'Befikre' wherein Ranveer was seen irritating Vaani to the core, but we did not know that Ranveer was even mean to Vaani. The actress said, "He (Ranveer) bullies me a lot. He was mean to me." To add to this, Ranveer agreed and said, "After ages I was ragging someone and I had great fun."

‘Befikre’, a family film!

Despite all the passion and compassion and the kisses, 'Befikre' has been given a U/A certificate by the Certification board. To this Ranveer said, "CBFC has seen the film and gave us U/A certificate and we are very happy because the film is Indian at its heart and as was seen in the first song 'Labon Ka Kaarobar', the kisses are shown in a very different way and no one will be offended while watching the film. Usually whenever there are kissing scenes in a film, things become awkward among a parent and a kid, that won’t happen in this film. I think the censors have aligned to that as the kisses are shown in the same kind of warmth as a hug, it’s normalised. And it’s a family film and happy film."
