There were reports doing the rounds that Kareena Kapoor was apparently not happy with Shahid Kapoor's relation to his 'Ishq Vishk' co-star Amrita Rao. At a time when Kareena was facing too many questions related to her relationship with Shahid, it was her 'Tashan' co-star Saif Ali Khan who lent an ear to her. Saif supported Bebo at a time when she needed him the most and became her support system. Apparently, the ' actress has always admitted to having a secret crush on Saif and while shooting for 'Tashan', the two were seen spending some quality time together.

Saif was quite impressed with Kareena while working together in a film. Kareena had already expressed her liking for 'Cocktail' actor. Proving his love for Kareena, Saif went an extra mile and tattooed her name on his hand. When Saif was asked what can he do for the love of his life, he went to the extent of cutting his hand with a blade. It was evident how madly in love he was.

According to a report in Miss Malini, Kareena's mother Babita and Saif Ali Khan had some role to play in Shahid-Kareena's break up. Post their breakup, Kareena and Shahid avoided working together on the silver screen. When Kareena was asked about it, she refused to comment on her personal life. Shahid, however, had openly spoken about the pain he was going through. In an interview, he confessed that he would be lying if he said it doesn't matter to him. He said that he had no hard feelings for Kareena and he also had no choice but to accept what happened.
