Actors Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor were one of the cutest and most celebrated couples back in the day. The couple got married at the RK Studios in 1980 and their reception was on January 23, 1980. Rishi and Neetu’s teenage romance bloomed in 1975 and the two grew stronger with time, until April 30, 2020, when Rishi Kapoor passed away after battling cancer. Reportedly, Neetu Singh started dating Rishi when she was just 14 years old. The first time they had come together on-screen was for the film Zehreela Insaan (1974).

Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor have starred together in several films like Amar Akbar Anthony, Kabhi Kabhie, Rafoo Chakkar, Do Dooni Chaar, Jab Tak Hai Jaan and more. However, on Rishi Kapoor second death anniversary, we scrolled through Neetu’s Instagram account and much to our delight, we came across some precious throwback pictures with her late husband that are a pure sight of love. On his first death anniversary, Neetu shared another monochrome picture with him and wrote, “All of last year has been of grief and sadness around the world for us maybe more as we lost him .. Not a day has gone by when we have not discussed or reminisced him as he was an extension of our existence .. sometimes his wise advice:: his wise cracks : his anecdotes !! We have celebrated him all year with a smile on the lips as he will stay in our hearts forever we have accepted life will never be the same without him !!! But life will go on …. #rishikapoor.”
