Salman Khan

As per reports, Salman Khan has paid approximately Rs 44.5 crore as advance tax this year. Last fiscal year, Salman had paid Rs 32.2 crore as advance tax to IT department.

Akshay Kumar

Witnessing a little drop in the amount paid by Akshay Kumar, the IT Department received Rs 29.5 crore from the star. Last year he had paid Rs 30 crore as advance tax.

Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik Roshan has shown a tremendous jump his year and has paid Rs 25.5 crore this year as an advance tax. In the fiscal year of 2015-16, Hrithik had paid Rs 14 crore.

Kapil Sharma

You'll be surprised to know the amount paid by Kapil Sharma this year as advance income tax. The comedian has paid Rs 23.9 crore to the IT department and has left everyone stumped. Last year, Kapil had paid Rs 7 crore. With this, we can gauge the growth in his income in just one year.

Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor's advacnce tax amount for this year is Rs 16.5 crore. As compared to last year's advance tax amount, Rs 22.3 crore, RK has witnessed a downfall here.

Aamir Khan

Despite having a record-breaking film 'Dangal' registered in his name, Aamir Khan has only paid Rs Rs 14.8 crore as the advance income tax this year. Last year he had paid Rs 9.6 crore.

Karan Johar

Karan Johar's advance tax amount has witnessed a major drop this year. The director has only paid Rs 4 crore as the advance tax as compared to the amount of Rs 35 crore paid last year.

Deepika Padukone

Among the ladies, Deepika Padukone is highest advance tax payer of 2016-2017. The lady who earned good this year, thanks to her Hollywood debut, paid Rs 10.25 crore as the advance tax payer this year. She had paid Rs 9 crore last year.

Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt, who had amazing films like 'Kapoor & Sons', 'Udta Punjab' and 'Dear Zindagi', paid Rs 4.33 crores this year, which is high as compared to the previous year's Rs 2.90 crores.

Kareena Kapoor Khan

The tax amount paid by Kareena Kapoor Khan has witnessed a dip this fiscal year. Last year she had paid Rs 7 crore to the IT Department, but this year, she has paid only Rs 3.9 crore as the advance tax.
