With lyrics by Ravi Girri & Rohan Deshmukh, the patriotic song evokes feelings of pure devotion, loyalty, and respect. It beautifully depicts the passion the unsung heroes of the Indian freedom struggle had during the Quit India movement. Qatra Qatra was first showcased at the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. It was done with an electrifying live performance by Sukhwinder.

Directed by Kannan Iyer, the historical biographical drama stars Sara Ali Khan as the unsung freedom fighter Usha Mehta. Usha is credited for starting the Congress Radio – an underground radio station, during the Quit India movement in 1942. The film also stars Sparsh Shrivastav, Anand Tiwari, Sachin Khedekar, Abhay Verma, Alexx O’Nell and Benedict Garrett, with Emraan Hashmi making a cameo appearance as Ram Manohar Lohia. It premiered today, March 21, 2024, on Amazon Prime Video.
