But way before that, she had worked really hard to make sure she is worthy of being an actress. The pretty lady herself revealed in several interviews that nobody would want to see a 96-kilo lead actress on the silver screens.
When she marked her debut on Karan Johar’s chat show-‘Koffee With Karan’with her father Saif, she openly spoke about suffering from PCOD (Polycystic ovary syndrome) on a National Television channel. This was for the first time that the actress came on a public platform, and her confession presented her as a confident lady among the fans.
The actress often said that she loves eating fried food and especially pizza. Because of her overeating habit, she had gained much weight. Her dramatic transformation has got tongues wagging and the pictures will surely surprise all.
It was her ambition and her passion for becoming an actress that pushed her to hit the gym and get a toned body. As she believed that no filmmaker would sigh her as a heroine in their respective films if she looked overweight.
Sara has also spoken about her fitness regime and revealed about the practices that she does, such as Kathak, yoga, Pilates and some other workout regime. The actress is quite active on her social media handles and she often shares her gym pictures.
In one of the interview, Sara has also revealed that her mother couldn’t recognize her at the airport, because of which she didn’t speak to her mother for quite some days. But, that became the turning point in the actresses life and she set a goal of losing some weight.
The biggest challenge for Sara Ali Khan was to shift her diet from pizza to salads, while she was living in New York during her graduation. She had to exercise regularly and get in shape.
Ever since she had marked her debut with the film ‘Kedarnath’, Sara Ali Khan has been presenting some of the best looks and how! From carrying pretty gowns to toned body-hugging dresses, the actress carries all of it with panache.
Renowned fitness trainer Cindy Jourdain, who is the boot camp trainer for Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput, has also trained Sara Ali Khan. The course includes aerobics and strength training moves which help build endurance and strength in the body.
