Shahid expresses his feeling when his video with ex-girlfriend Kareena got leaked

Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan were in a relationship back in the 2000s. The two used to be one of the most adored couples in tinsel town but, a sudden controversy sparked when in 2004 a video of them kissing made headlines all over. Talking to Mid-Day, he recently opened up. He said, “I was destroyed at that time. I was just a 24-year-old kid and I felt my privacy had been invaded and I could do nothing to protect it. I was a mess, I was like, yeh kya ho gaya and what is going on and of course, it affects you a lot. At that age especially, because you don’t even know exactly your own feelings and then you are figuring out how to be with a girl and you are dating and in the middle this happens.”

He reveals the best quality about Kareena Kapoor

Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor split in 2006 and after which they didn’t do any movies until Udta Punjab in 2016. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, he spilled her best quality, “I don’t know, I think she always had a superstar quality right from her first film. So, I think that was special about her.” Since then, they have always been cordial towards each other and even promoted Udta Punjab together. Although they didn’t have any scenes together in the film.

Shahid shares he has seen physical abuse as a child 

The Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh received much praise but equal criticism for the concept of love connected to physical abuse. He played the role of an aggressive heartbroken devasted lover. Opening up about the criticism the movie received, he revealed in an interview with Mid-Day. He said, “I’ve seen physical abuse as a child. I understand what you’re talking about. But it was just a dysfunctional love story between a very simple girl and a very talented, brilliant, aggressive, disturbed guy. And stuff like that happens on a day-today basis.” He didn’t reveal the story behind the physical abuse.

The actor got rejected from 100 movies before his debut 

Shahid is considered to be a star kid but he has had his fair share of struggles in the industry. He opened up about rejecting 100 movies even before he made his entry into films, he said, “Everyone thinks that he is Pankaj Kapur’s son, so isko toh break mil gaya hoga (He must have got a break). But I have been rejected from 100 auditions. Sometimes, I didn’t have money to eat food or to even go to the auditions. I have lived that life, and I don’t like talking about it. But that is my reality.” The actor debuted in Bollywood with the 2003 movie Ishq Vishk.

His daughter Misha failed to recognize him post Kabir Singh

Shahid’s brooding look with beard pretty much won our hearts when his 2019 film Kabir Singh was released. But, looks like his daughter Misha failed to recognize him after he shaved his long-grown beard. Talking to Neha Dhupia on her chat shown, No Filter Neha, he said, “When I was talking to her, she was staring at my mouth and looking at my face and it was not making sense to her because she was like ‘I know that voice but I don’t know this face’. I didn’t have my beard.”
