Today is the 87^th birth anniversary of legendary actor Shammi Kapoor. The actor made his Bollywood debut with ‘Jeevan Jyoti’ in 1953, but the movie sank at the box office. After struggling for almost four years ‘Tumsa Nahin Dekha’ became the turning point of his career. This movie earned him lots of appreciations and he never looked back in his career since then. He went on to give blockbusters like ‘Dil Deke Dekho’, ‘Junglee’, ‘College Girl’, ‘China Town’, ‘Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya’ to name a few. He left for the heavenly abode at the age of 80 on August 14, 2011.
