Be it the song Mann Bharryaa 2.0, beautifully crooned by B Praak, that plays during the end scene featuring Vikram Batra’s funeral in Palampur and a distraught Dimple, Ranjha featuring Sidharth-Kiara, Raataan Lambiyan, Kabhii Tumhhe, or the patriotic song Jai Hind Ki Sena that invokes our patriotism; the music, lyrics of the songs made a special place in several hearts.

Sidharth earned immense praise and appreciation for his role in Shershaah. The actor not only slipped into the role of Captain Vikram Batra but managed to portray him quite well in the reel life. Sidharth’s Shershaah got a rating of 8.8/10 on the website. The Dharma Productions film was one such movie that broke the clutter in 2021. Sidharth Malhotra-Kiara Advani chemistry

While Malhotra played Captain Vikram Batra, Kiara essayed the character of Dimple Cheema, the war hero’s girlfriend, and fiancee. It was the first time when Sidharth and Kiara collaborated on a movie. And their pairing was loved by all. This new duo received all the love and warmth for their portrayal in the film and their chemistry. Sidharth and Kiara’s romance as Vikram and Dimple was one of the highlights of the film.

Shershaah marked the Hindi directorial debut of filmmaker Vishnu Varadhan. The film is based on the life of Param Vir Chakra-awardee Captain Vikram Batra. It shows Sidharth playing the war hero and follows his life from his first posting in the army to his death in the 1999 Kargil War.

The Sidharth-Kiara film was produced under the banners, Dharma Productions and Kaash Entertainment.

Bollywood Bubble had given the film 3.5 stars and said, “Shershaah is an honest effort by Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani.”
