Sushant Singh Rajput case: NCB arrests Siddharth Pithani; here’s all the times he made headlines

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death still remains a mystery. Various theories were being discussed since last year. Siddharth Pithani was among the four people present at Sushant Singh Rajput’s home in Mumbai when he was found hanging in his room on June 14. He was reportedly arrested by the anti-drugs agency, NCB in Hyderabad today. Let’s find out how Pithani has made headlines in this last one year since SSR’s death.

When Siddharth met Sushant Singh Rajput

Siddharth nicknamed “Buddha” was working for Sacred Fig Design, a Graphic Design Agency, as a creative director in 2017. While working there Pithani got in touch with Ayush Sharma. Ayush was a close friend of Sushant. Ayush was the one who actually asked Siddharth to meet SSR for better opportunities. April 2019 Pithani met SSR. After that, he started working on Sushant’s project Dreams 150. Sushant was taking care of Siddharth’s daily needs and Pithani was not a salaried employee.

When Siddharth said Capri Heights was haunted

He said that Sushant moved from his old apartment into the new one in 2019 because he felt that the old house was ‘haunted’. His girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik also claimed to have “felt such things.” Siddharth said that from June to September 2019, Sushant began spending more time with Rhea, and wasn’t as focused on his work. Siddharth said he had to move to Ahmedabad for some family reasons and started a new job.

Called back by SSR in January 2020

This time an emotional SSR met Pithani and told him he is no more interested in Mumbai and will shift his base to Pavna farm. This time Pithani got to know from SSR’s manager Miranda that Rhea used to make purchases with Sushant’s credit card.

Disha Salian’s death

Siddharth, who was also living with Sushant at the actor’s Bandra home, told Zoom that Disha had managed Sushant only for a short time, and yet she was described as ‘Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager’ in news articles about her. “He met her only once in his life,” Siddharth said. “She was Sushant’s manager for only a very small time”, he said. Siddharth added that Sushant kept crying the day he learned of Disha’s death. “His sister was there to take of him that time. She fed him, gave him water. His sister came over the day Rhea left. The following day this incident happened, and that affected him so much. He fainted also. His sister and I were in the same room. We all saw how badly it affected him,” he added.

Siddharth further said, “Sushant had asked me to constantly update him on Disha’s death. On 10 June, he told me to delete all old video recordings and everything on the hard drive. Disha’s death was clearly making Sushant very anxious. Thus, as suggested by Sushant, I deleted all the data about his videos, his songs etc from his hard disk”

On the day of death

Pithani in his statement gave a detailed statement on how the door was found locked and the lock was, subsequently, broken only to find “Sushant Singh hanging from the ceiling fan with a green kurta”. “His legs were on one side of the bed and his face was towards the window,” Siddharth said in the statement. Siddharth also told the probe agency about how his body was brought down and how they tried to revive him through CPR, but that was of no avail.

Siddharth Pithani Lying, None From Family Asked Him To Bring Down Sushant’s Hanging Body

“Pithani’s statement, which is coming out in media, that Sushant’s body was brought down on the request of family members is a lie,” the family member told IANS. The family member also questioned how the key of Sushant’s room went missing on that fateful day.
