‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’

The climax scene of ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ had Shah Rukh Khan standing on the footboard of a train right at the door while his ladylove Kajol came running towards him.

‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’

Tables turn in this film as Shah Rukh Khan is outside the train bidding goodbye to his ladylove Kajol (he isn’t aware of his feelings for her yet).

‘Swades’

This film has an NRI Shah Rukh Khan coming back to his roots and getting exposed to the harsh reality of poverty-stricken India. Boarding an overly crowded train to travel to his village showcases this reality.

‘Veer Zara’

It’s at a platform where Veer confesses his love to Zara and who is an eye-witness here? The mighty train.

‘Chennai Express’

The train plays Cupid between SRK and Deepika Padukone in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Chennai Express’. The iconic scene from ‘DDLJ’ gets recreated in this one as SRK stretches his arm to help Deepika board a moving train.

‘Dil Se’

This one has a twist. Instead of SRK romancing his ladylove in and around trains, in ‘Dil Se’ we had him dancing atop a train. Malaika Arora grooved with him on the song ‘Chhaiyan Chhaiyan’ in this one.

‘Fan’

In the movie ‘Fan’, it is Shah Rukh Khan’s die-hard fan Gaurav (played by the star himself) who travels without ticket in a Mumbai bound train, just to meet his idol.

‘Main Hoon Na’

Shah Rukh Khan’s entry scene in Farah Khan’s directorial debut ‘Main Hoon Na’ sees the superstar making a thunderous entry with a train in the backdrop.

‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’

SRK and Katrina Kaif find a perfect place in an empty compartment of a train to dance their heart out in this one.
