Ranbir Kapoor

Karishma Kapoor

Karishma Kapoor is one of the most successful Bollywood actresses of the 1990's. She is the daughter of actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita Kapoor. She made her first acting debut in 'Prem Qaidi' in 1991 at the age of 17. In 1996, Karishma earned her first Filmfare Award for Best Actress for Raja Hindustani. Raja Hindustani was earlier offered to Aishwarya Rai. Karishma Kapoor was in a relationship with Ajay Devgan for 3 years. On 29 September 2003, she married industrialist Sunjay Kapur, CEO of Sixt India. The couple had a daughter in 2005 and a son in 2010 before divorcing in 2014.

Rajiv Kapoor

Rajiv Kapoor is the youngest son of actor and director Raj Kapoor. He made his first debut in Bollywood in 'Ek Jaan Hain Hum' in 1983.He played the leading role in his father's last directorial venture Ram Teri Ganga Maili in 1985. He acted in several other films and made his last film appearance in Zimmedaar in 1990. In 2001, he married architect Aarti Sabharwal. However,the relation didn't work out and the marriage ended in divorce two years later.

Rishi Kapoor

Rishi Kapoor is the second son of film director and star Raj Kapoor.Rishi Kapoor debuted in his father's 1970 film, Mera Naam Joker, playing a child. Kapoor had his first lead role opposite Dimple Kapadia in the 1973 film Bobby. Rishi Kapoor married actress Neetu Singh on 22 January 1980. The couple have two children: Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahani. Rishi Kapoor got 51 films as the solo lead hero from 1974-1997 but some of them, 40 were box-office flops and only 11 hit movies which were Bobby, Laila Majnu,Rafoo Chakkar, Sargam, Karz, Prem Rog, Nagina, Honeymoon, Banjaran, Heena and Bol Radha Bol.

Randhir Kapoor

Randhir Kapoor is the eldest son of Raj Kapoor and one of the grandsons of actor and producer Prithviraj Kapoor. Randhir Kapoor is one of the most influential men in Bollywood. Randhir first appeared as a child artist in 'Shree 420' in 1955 and 'Do Ustad' in 1959.He became assistant director with the film 'Jhuk Gaya Aasman' starring Rajendra Kumar in 1968. Randhir married Sindhi-speaking girlfriend Babita during the year 1971 and they have two daughters Karishma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. Babita and Randhir were happily married couple, but things changed and the couple separated in 1988.

Shashi Kapoor

Shashi Kapoor's real name was Balbir Raj Prithviraj Kapoor. He was a very popular actor of his time and he has also been a film director and assistant director in Indian cinema.The actor has featured over 160 movies and won three National Awards. He met English actress Jennifer Kendal in Calcutta in 1956, the couple fell in love and after facing initial opposition from the Kendals and support from sister-in-law Geeta Bali, they got married in July 1958.They had three children: Kunal Kapoor, Karan Kapoor and Sanjana Kapoor.

Shammi Kapoor

Shammi Kapoor's real name was Shamsher Raj Kapoor. Shammi was the second of the three sons born to Prithviraj. Shammi wanted to be an aeronautical engineer before he joined Indian cinema. He made his first debut in Bollywood in the year 1953 in Jeevan Jyoti. Shammi Kapoor fell in love with the actress Geeta Bali on the sets of 'Rangin Raaten' in 1956. Four months later, they married at Banganga Temples, near Napean Sea Road of Mumbai. Shammi Kapoor was the founder and chairman of Internet Users Community of India (IUCI). He had also played a major role in setting up internet organizations like the Ethical Hackers Association.

Prithviraj Kapoor

Prithviraj Kapoor was a pioneer of Indian theatre and of the Hindi film industry, who started his career as an actor. Prithviraj Kapoor was the first from the family to pursue acting. Prithviraj's first lead role was in Cinema Girl in 1929. His father, Basheshwarnath Kapoor, was as a police officer of the Indian Imperial Police, in the city of Peshawar, British India, while his grandfather, Keshavmal Kapoor, was a Tehsildar in Samundri, Punjab, British India.
