‘Neend Churai’
'Neend Churai' featuring Ajay Devgn and Parineeti Chopra from 'Golmaal Again' literally had nothing interesting apart from the couple's lovey-dovey but flop romance and grandeur locales. FYI, this song was a rcreated version of a song with the same title from the film 'Ishq' which starred Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgn, Kajol and Juhi Chawla in leads.
‘Jaanu Meri Jaan’
The old version of 'Jaanu Meri Jaan' starred biggies like Amitabh Bachchan and Shashi Kapoor. But when the song was recreated in 'Behen Hogi Teri', it completely ruined the essence of the original. The recreated version starred Rajkummar Rao and Shruti Haasan and certainly they failed to keep up with the beats. Nah!
‘Pallo Latke’
A Kishore Kumar and Asha Bhosle song was technically ripped apart when it was recreated in a film titled 'Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana' starring Rajkumar Rao and Kriti Kharbanda in lead roles. From its bad choreography to the new tunes, all just sounded so not good to our ears.
‘Cheez Badi’
'Tu Cheez' is a song which every 90s kid would have dance on, at least once. But when this song got recreated in a film titled' Machine' and it just ruined the whole 90s vibe for us. The song was nothing but more of an eye-candy twist to the old.
‘Keh Doon Tumhe’
Picturised of Shashi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, 'Keh Doon Tumhe' from the film 'Deewaar' was a love anthem for ages, but the recreated version turned out to be a major flop. The new version featured Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta and trust us it was pain in the ears.
‘Mehbooba’
One girl dancing with four men might look oh-so alluring, but the classic song with the new rap element is not even a minute bearable. Trust us on this!
‘Sara Zamana’
One of the EPIC songs from a 80s film, 'Yaarana', was recreated in a film titled 'Kaabil' this year which starred Hrithik Roshan in the lead. But unlike the original, in the recreated version we saw Urvashi Rautela grooving in all her sultry best and that was it. The song was nothing compared to the old one. Hope you agree with the list!
If you are a big time Bollywood fanatic, you’ll surely know that SONGS play an essential part of every film. While 2017 witnessed many kick-ass original songs, but then there were few films in which we saw some recreated version of iconic old songs. Unfortunately, mostly all were disastrous! And so with this we can say that 2017 was like a roller-coaster ride where there were more flop recreations then hits. (Also Read:The best villains of 2017: The evil that left a mark)

Moody, sarcastic, narcissist, quirky, a complete gossip bitch and also a SRKian, Rushabh wants to break the stereotypes within the society through his writing. Also, OUT and PROUD of his rainbow colours, his life just revolves around everything fashionable and Bollywood.
