Aamir Khan to romance Deepika Padukone in ‘Thug’?

Yash Raj Film’s ‘Thug’ is set to go on the floors sometime next year. There are speculations that suggest Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan will play the lead characters in the film. In addition to that, assumptions are now riff that ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’ queen, Deepika Padukone, will be donning the leading lady’s hat in ‘Thug’.

A leading daily reported that Deepika was earlier approached for the role, but she turned it down. Director Vijay Krishna Acharya, who also directed ‘Dhoom 3′ with Aamir earlier, has made various alterations in the script and the lead actress’ character has also changed.

We are yet to know whether Deepika has agreed to the changed script. If yes, then this will be her first film with Aamir Khan. Doesn’t that sound amazing?
