Alia Bhatt to feature in Meghna Gulzar’s next controversial film?

Meghna Gulzar’s last venture ‘Talvar’ based on Aarushi murder received critical acclaim. Her next film is said to be based on the problems going on in the Kashmir valley. As per reports, the filmmaker wanted to rope in Alia Bhatt to feature in this film and much to her delight, the young sensation has given her nod to the film. A source very close to Alia has revealed about the same. The source says, “It was a dilemma for Alia. The subject is controversial, very controversial. But then Alia is Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter. Controversies don’t bother her at the end of the day.”

The source further revealed that it was Alia’s father Mahesh Bhatt who convinced his daughter to take up this role. The source says, “He convinced her that doing issue-based subjects once in a while along with her state-of-the-art mainstream films was the right career move. Bhatt saab himself balanced an ‘Arth’ with a ‘Duplicate’.”

However, we await an official confirmation on the same.
