Amitabh Bachchan and Varun Dhawan to star in Pradeep Sarkar’s next?

If reports are to be believed, then Rani Mukerji starrer ‘Mardaani’ will have a sequel and actor Amitabh Bachchan will feature in it. The sequel will be helmed by Pradeep Sarkar and the tentative title is ‘Dabba’. There’s also buzz that actor Varun Dhawan will be roped in as the second main lead.

Apparently, Big B has agreed for the same but Varun is yet to sign on the dotted line. A source revealed, “Big B has given his nod to the film. Varun has also been approached, but he is yet to confirm his presence, given his packed diary. Yash Raj is known to wrap its projects in secrecy, so those associated with the project have been asked to keep mum until he is officially on board.”

Well, it will be interesting to see Varun Dhawan share screen space with the megastar. Currently, Varun Dhawan is riding high on the success of ‘Dishoom’ and has left for the star-studded Dream Team Concert in the US. Whereas Amitji will be seen as a lawyer in the forthcoming crime thriller ‘Pink’.
