Is Anushka Sharma-starrer ‘Phillauri’ inspired by animated movie ‘Corpse Bride’?

We all are loving the trailer of Anushka Sharma-starrer ‘Phillauri’ which was launched just few hours ago. The film’s story seems to be quite interesting, something that we haven’t seen in Bollywood. But, then after researching a bit here and there, we found out about a film titled ‘Corpse Bride’.

‘Corpse Bride’ is a Hollywood animated film which had released in the year 2005. The movie revolved around a guy who gets married to a ghost while practising his wedding vows in a nearby forest. Well, now isn’t this a bit similar to what we saw in the trailer of ‘Phillauri’.

We are not at all blaming the makers that they have copied the Hollywood movie. Well, this might be inspired by it, or it can also be a mere co-incidence. (Also Check: Fresh and delightfully unique, trailer of Anushka Sharma’s ‘Phillauri’ is incredible)

But, whatever it is, we have loved the trailer, and we simply can’t wait to watch Anushka Sharma on the big screen. In the trailer, she looks like a million bucks, and believe us, if there’s a beautiful ghost like her any guy will get ready to marry her.
