Arjun Kapoor replaces Akshay Kumar

Although it was a much-awaited film, Arjun Kapoor’s ‘Half Girlfriend’ received not-so-great reviews. However, he is coming back at his energetic best in Anees Bazmee’s ‘Mubarakan’. Gossip mongers suggest, he has also replaced Akshay Kumar in an upcoming big budget film!

When Vipul Amrutlal Shah announced a sequel of the 2007 blockbuster ‘Namastey London’, Akshay was supposed to don the lead actor’s hat once more. However, he delayed the shoot for four months, since he would first finish working on Rajinikanth-starrer ‘2’0′.

Now, he has reportedly moved out of the film and makers are now considering Arjun Kapoor for the same. (Also Read: Arjun Kapoor and Athiya Shetty strike a modest pose on the latest Vogue cover)

Even in past, the film, which was tentatively titled ‘Namastey England’, went through major change after Sonakshi Sinha decided to step back. Parineeti Chopra was rumoured to be brought on board, although she has not confirmed anything yet. However, she is set to announce a new film and we wonder if it will be this!
