Athiya Shetty beats Kriti Sanon to play Sanjay Dutt’s daughter

Remember how it was said that Athiya Shetty has been seeking help from Sanjay Leela Bansali to revive her career in the industry after ‘Hero.’ And it seems like it quite worked.

Athiya, who was battling it out with Kriti Sanon on a professional front to be Sanjay Dutt’s daughter in his comeback film, which is being directed and produced by Siddharth Anand, has finally won the game.

SpotboyE has it that Athiya has landed a role opposite Sanju baba in the film and she is on cloud nine already. Sanjay has worked with Suniel Shetty in a few films and the two have always shared a cordial relation. While Sanju baba treats Athiya like his own daughter, he was bound to go for her over Kriti.

This film is an action-packed venture, which will start its shooting in a couple of months.The movie will see both Sanjay and Athiya perform stunts, for which they will undergo training in mixed martial arts.

There however has been no confirmation about the same from the team.
