Chunky Panday to also be a part of Prabhas-starrer ‘Saaho’?

Post the resounding success of ‘Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion’, Prabhas has gained immense fan following and he has practically been on the wishlist of every director. The actor, who will be seen in ‘Saaho’ next, has been in the news for the same. There have been several reports of the leading lady and finally it was said that his co-star from ‘Baahubali 2’, Anushka Shetty, will be reuniting with him in the movie. Then there were other reports which stated that she lost out on the role due to weight issues. The makers felt she was overweight for her part and hence she lost out on the role. However, these rumours stopped when a source close to the movie stated, “The shooting is not happening at this moment, it’ll only start from this month end. These reports about Anushka are false because she’s not yet confirmed. The makers are yet to take a call. They’ll take a decision soon. (Also) Everyone is speculating that Anushka is finalised for ‘Saaho’ because the same banner is producing a film called ‘Bhagmati’, which stars Anushka in the lead.” It’s not like she’s overweight or anything. She’s looking good and she’s acting in one more film (‘Bhagmati’). She gained weight for ‘Size Zero’, but that was two years ago, and after that, she did ‘Baahubali’ and she looked very much in shape,” added the source. [sic]

Now, recent reports in DNA suggest that the reigning star of the 90s era, Chunky Panday has joined the cast of the movie. Revealed a source close to the actor, “Chunky will be doing ‘Saaho’. He loved the idea that went behind scripting the futuristic film and has a special role.”

The movie is going to be shot on a lavish scale in beautiful locations and one of them is going to be Abu Dhabi. It will be releasing in 2018. The movie also stars Neil Nitin Mukesh in a pivotal part.
