Harshvardhan Kapoor, the younger brother of Sonam Kapoor and son of actor Anil Kapoor, is being vouched for, as the most promising debutant of this year. The actor has been roped in for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Mirzya’, based upon the legendary love story of Mirzya and Sahiba. Quite interestingly, the story will unfold without dialogues.
“The entire saga of Mirzya and his ladylove Sahibaan unfolds without dialogues. Throughout the shooting of the love story no words were exchanged between the two onscreen lovers played by Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher,” a source reveals.
In case you didn’t know, Kapoor is an extremely quiet and calm man. He reportedly reduced his off-screen talks as well, as he didn’t need to speak on-screen.
“He was not required to speak lines on camera. So Harshvardhan decided to stay mum off camera as well. The entire love story unfolds through Gulzar Saab’s poetry and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy’s songs,” the source adds.
Also, Harshvardhan has a double role in the film, and the two characters are not related to each other in any way. Since they were miles apart from each other, Harshvardhan prepared himself accordingly.
“I can’t reveal too much about my role in Miryza. But yes, it is a double role. My director Rakeysh Sir and I treated the characters as two distinct unrelated persons. It was like doing two different films. So technically I’ve done two films with one of the best directors of the country, and eager to do a third.” the actor said.
