The Khans have been ruling the Hindi film industry since decades now and it’s always a tough battle at the box office as to which Khan movie gained more profits. It looks like Salman Khan has already earned an upper hand this year over Shah Rukh Khan.
Salman Khan’s Eid release ‘Tubelight’ and SRK’s untitled Imtiaz Ali flick are still far from their release dates, but reportedly the former’s movie has already earned more profits in the music rights.
So as per reports in DNA After Hrs, the music rights of Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ and SRK’s untitled movie with Anushka Sharma have already been sold. Rumours suggest that Sony Music India has purchased the music rights of ‘Tubelight’ for Rs 20 crore and SRK’s movie music rights for Rs 15 crore. This means that Salman Khan’s movie has an upper hand and higher chances of emerging victorious. Also, the fact that Salman’s movie has just three songs as compared to SRK’s six songs makes it even more significant.
Also, another important factor is that ‘Tubelight’ is the solo release during Eid whereas SRK’s movie will be clashing with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’. So, there are higher chances of ‘Tubelight’ becoming a blockbuster and doing more business than SRK’s movie. Let’s see what happens eventually.
