Is the ice between Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan melting?

After almost a decade, Shahid Kapoor and his former flame Kareena Kapoor Khan would appear in a film together. Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Udta Punjab’ so far is grounded by the Censor Board for containing ‘excessive swearing’, though we are hoping it to find a way to the theatres.  In all the promotional events, Shahid and Kareena kind of avoided any direct communication with each other, leaving an awkward silence between themselves. However, one among the last round promotional activities managed to break the ice a little; and we saw Bebo and Sasha exchanging a joke!

A report on DNA states that the entire cast and crew are heavily excited for the film to release. High on excitement, Shahid suggested that the actors do something out-of-the-box like flying high on the sky while performing some activity, to promote the film. Kareena had  the most apt response for him.  “Oh you are one to talk, Shahid! You don’t drink or smoke so how can you fly high?” she said.

Having said that, Kareena and Shahid will not be sharing any screen space in the film. We even heard they came to the sets, shot and left separately.

The lead cast also includes Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh. The makers are presently seeking a solution to Censor Board’s verdict on the film and hopefully it will release soon!
