Is Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘Crack’ inspired by Michael Douglas’ ‘Falling Down’?

Akshay Kumar surely has a busy 2017. The actor has a line up of projects including ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, ‘2.0’ and ‘PadMan’ this year and Neeraj Pandey’s ‘Crack’ for next year.

The actor unveiled the poster of ‘Crack’ on Independence Day and people have only been waiting to get some more insights on the project. Reports claim that the Akshay Kumar-starrer has a lot of similarities with a Hollywood film, ‘Falling Down’. The Hollywood flick, which was a cult hit starring Michael Douglas saw the protagonist play an unemployed and divorced engineer who gets indulged into random criminal acts. The classic that released in 1993 received huge acclamation.

Akshay’s character in ‘Crack’ is said to be on the same lines. Well, we will get to see how much of this gossip true, when the movie hits the theatres.

After collaborating with Neeraj Pandey in ‘Special 26’ and ‘Baby’, this will be Akshay’s third film with director Neeraj Pandey.
