‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ returns, Anushka Sharma joins SRK and Katrina in Aanand L Rai’s next?

There have been a lot of reports about the female leads of Aanand L Rai’s next which stars Shah Rukh Khan as the male lead. Reportedly, the film will have two lead actresses, and Katrina Kaif is finalised as one of them. For the other lead actress, there were reports that Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt were approached, but they didn’t come on board. However, now if sources, are to be believed, Anushka Sharma has been roped in as the other female lead.

It is said that Shah Rukh Khan will play a dwarf in the film, Anushka will be seen as a mentally challenged girl, and Katrina plays herself. Well, if these reports turn out to be true, then it will be ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ returns as earlier all the three actors had starred together in the Yash Chopra directorial.

A source said, “After Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt were unable to commit to the film, Aanand approached Anushka. The actress found the role challenging and agreed to do it. She also shares a great rapport with SRK and Katrina, and decided to come on board. It is said that the ‘Phillauri’ actress has to sort out her dates as she is currently busy with the shooting of her home production ‘Pari’. Rai has already kickstarted the shooting of the film with SRK.
