What! Sanjay Leela Bhansali agrees to change the name of ‘Padmavati’?

Well, you must have heard of the assault on Sanjay Leela Bhansali by the members of Karni Sena, on the sets of ‘Padmavati’ in Jaipur. The members of the organisation justified their act saying that they did so in retaliation of a statement by the team that there is going to be a dream sequence wherein Alauddin Khilji portrayed by Ranveer Singh and Padmavati portrayed by Deepika Padukone will be making love.

This did not go down well with these ‘protectors’ of culture who decided to take the matters into their own hands and thought that vandalising the sets and beating up a senior director is the best way to protest.

Anyway, now, if reports are considered to be true, then there have been documents exchanged between both the parties, i.e. Karni Sena and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and the matter has been resolved, as the director and team told an entertainment portal.

These are the two letters exchanged bewteen the two parties.

After this incident, it was widely condemned and many Bollywood stars came out in support of Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
