Say yes! Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to be cast by Karan Johar once again?

Filmmaker Karan Johar did try his level best to keep SRK’s cameo in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ under the wraps, but after a still from the movie starring Shah Rukh Khan with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan got leaked, the world came to know that he is indeed a part of the film and plays the role of Ash’s husband.

Well, it was a small cameo by SRK, but his fans went crazy to the extent of bursting crackers in a theatre. Now, here comes another interesting report that has been doing the rounds in the media. Karan Johar intends on casting Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan together in one of his upcoming projects.

According to a source close to the development, “In ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ they look so good together. They bring the roof down when they are together. Karan feels he owes Aishwarya a full-fledged role. He has an idea for a film which works just fine for both of Shah Rukh and Aishwarya.”

These two actors have worked together in the superhit flick ‘Devdas’ in 2002 and also featured in an item number called ‘Ishq Kameena’ together. In fact, Ash was also supposed to work in Aziz Mirza’s ‘Chalte Chalte’ opposite King Khan, but due to certain reasons she was dropped out and Rani Mukerji was brought in. There were constant rumours thereafter that SRK and Ash are not on talking terms, but their appearance together in ‘ADHM’ proves everything wrong. The source further added, “Much time has gone by since ‘Chalte Chalte’. All the awkwardness post that awful incident has been washed away. Today Aishwarya’s husband Abhishek is extremely close to Shah Rukh. In fact, Abhishek was instrumental to an extent in the casting coup bringing his wife and his buddy (whom he treats as his elder brother) in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.

Well, if this news of KJo casting them again for a project is true, then we are waiting to know what kind of a story it will be!
