‘Student of The Year 2’ to NOT feature Sara Ali Khan?

Saif Ali Khan and former wife Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan was supposedly making her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s ‘Student Of The Year 2’. Saif too stated he was glad that his daughter received the opportunity to debut under someone as acclaimed as Karan Johar. To most of us, it sounded like a confirmation.

There were even news that Sara has replaced Disha Patani  for the same. Just when we were almost sure about it, an insider from Dharma Productions burst the bubble during a conversation with Missmalini.

“Saif has done no such thing. Saif only said his daughter Sara will make her debut in a Dharma film. That’s a fact. Saif didn’t say anything about ‘Student Of The Year 2’. Karan Johar has taken on himself the task of introducing Sara to the silver screen. During the last one year Karan has offered Sara EVERY Dharma production including Karan Malhotra’s comedy with Hrithik Roshan (which has now been shelved) and ‘Student Of The Year 2’,” the insider said. ‘Student of The Year 2’ will be a film consisting of two heroines and one hero. And apparently, Sara is not at all keen to debut in a film where the screen-space gets divided.

“It’s very clearly a two-heroine one-hero film with Tiger Shroff playing the male lead. Sara will make her debut only in a solo-heroine film. Because of all the media pressure Karan is getting very anxious about Sara’s debut. He has taken on the responsibility of introducing her. And he wants Sara to be as successful as his other ‘Student Of The Year’ debutant Alia Bhatt. The correct vehicle for Sara’s debut is awaited,” the source added.
