Wow! Shahid Kapoor to romance Deepika Padukone in ‘Padmavati’?

Now this is a news that will surely make Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone fans happy. Both the actors have been in the industry since a long time, but haven’t yet shared screen space. However, if reports are to be believed, Shahid has been roped in to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ which stars Deepika in the titular role. The actor will be apparently playing the role of Rani Padmavati’s husband, Raja Rawal Ratan Singh.

Yesterday, there were reports that no A-list actor is keen on starring in the film and Deepika is not keen on romancing a TV actor in the movie.

Well, if these reports turn out to be true, this will surely be the casting coup by SLB. It will be interesting to watch a film starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.

While Ranveer and Deepika will be collaborating with SLB for the third time, Shahid will be helmed by the master director for the first time.
