Earlier, there were reports that Nagarjuna didn’t want his son’s film to have an OTT release. So, he had turned down the offer of its OTT release as he wanted Akhil’s film to hit the theatres first. Now, it seems Allu Aravind and Bunny Vaas have considered Nagarjuna’s decision and they have decided to release Most Eligible Bachelor in theatres.
Most Eligible Bachelor is Akhil’s fourth film. Earlier, Akhil had appeared in movies like Akhil, Hello and Mr. Majnu. Apart from Most Eligible Bachelor, the actor will also be seen in Agent. In April, on his birthday, the makers unveiled the title and first look of the film. The shoot has already begun. Directed by Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy fame Surender Reddy, it is the first collaboration between Akhil and director Surender Reddy. It is jointly backed by Anil Sunkara and Surender Reddy under the banners, AK Entertainments, and Surrender 2 Cinema. It is slated to release on December 24.
