Bigg Boss Telugu 5: From Esha Chawla to Singer Mangli, the tentative list of contestants entering the show is OUT

Bigg Boss Telugu is one of the popular and controversial TV shows down south. And now, the reality series is back with the fifth season. A few days ago, the logo of the new season was unveiled by the makers and the same has left viewers excited. While the promo will be out soon, speculations are rife that many popular celebs will enter the show and Nagarjuna Akkineni will mostly be back as the host of the show. For the unversed, he has been hosting the series from the third season after Jr NTR and Nani, and his seasons had garnered more TRP than earlier ones. Some reports have suggested that Rana Daggubati may wear the hat of the host. However, nothing is official yet.

Talking about the contestants of the fifth edition, as per Sakshi.com, Esha Chawla, Varshini Sounderajan, Anchor Shiva, Lobo, Ravi, Surekha Vani, Rj Kajal, Siri Hanumanth, Navya Swami, Siddardh Varma, Vishnu, Mangli, TV9 Pratyusha, Raghu Master, Tiktok fame Durga Rao may enter the show as contestants. Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, all the contestants will be quarantined for two weeks before they enter the Bigg Boss house.

If reports are to be believed, the fifth season will premiere in the second week of September. Aside from this reality show, other awaited reality TV shows are Master Chef Telugu and Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu (the Telugu version for Who Wants to Be a Millionaire). Speaking of the last season, Bigg Boss Telugu season 4 was launched on September 6, 2020, and was concluded in December. While Abhijeet Duddhala was the winner, Siva Balaji, Kaushal Manda and Rahul Sipligunj were the winners of the first three seasons respectively. The new season will air on Star Maa, in association with Endemolshine India.
