Drishyam 2: Mohanlal thanks cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin for praising his film; says, “Means a lot to all of us”

Mohanlal is getting an overwhelming response for his recently released movie Drishyam 2. Not only his fans but celebs and his peers are also raving the movie. It also got a nod of approval from Indian cricketer, Ravichandran Ashwin. He took to his Twitter handle to praise the movie. “I laughed out loud when George Kutty

Replying to Ashwin’s tweet, Mohanlal replied back thanking Ashwin for ‘taking time out’ of his busy schedule to watch the movie. “Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to watch our #Drishyam2 and talking about it. Means a lot to all of us. Best wishes for your career @ashwinravi99”, he wrote.

Earlier, Mohanlal thanked the fans and critics for showering so much love to Drishyam 2. He was ‘overwhelmed and overjoyed’ by the response from people. “I am touched by the fact that so many of you have already watched the film and have messaged or called with words of appreciation. The success of Drishyam 2 is a testament to the fact that cinema lovers across the world always appreciate good work and support it,” he wrote.

Drishyam 2 premiered on Amazon Prime Video on February 19. It was directed by Jeethu Joseph. It also stars Meena, Ansiba, Esther Anil, Siddique, Asha Sharath, Murali Gopy and Saikumar.
