Filmmaker Arunraja Kamaraj’s wife Sindhuja succumbs to COVID

The Covid-19 surge doesn’t seem to be dropping anytime soon. The second wave of the Coronavirus has adversely affected everyone’s life. In the past few months, several artistes and their family members have succumbed to it. Popular lyricist and director Arunraja Kamaraj’s wife Sindhuja passed away due to Covid-19

According to the reports, Sindhuja had contracted the deadly virus. She was rushed to the hospital after her condition worsened. Unfortunately, she failed to respond to the treatment and breathed her last on May 16.

Apparently, Arunraja has also tested positive for Covid-19. The lyricist is also hospitalised and responding well to the treatment. Tamil film fraternity took to social media to offer heartfelt condolences to Arunraja and his family.

Lyricist Arunraja made his directorial debut with Kanaa. He will be helming Udayanithi starrer Article 15 remake.
